Northern Lights Bust

There was huge hype on Friday night about the Northern Lights being able to be seen as far south as Nebraska.  Come to find out I would have had to drive all the way up close to Fargo to possibly see them.  But I think the photos I shot were worth the trip up past Blair and up by Tekemah.  My favorite is the fog on the lake it turned out brilliant!!  Thanks for visiting my night sky photos!

Gas and Wine

Traveling back home for my sister-in-law's surprise birthday I got a few more snaps along the highway and also at the Miletta Vista Winery north of St. Paul, Nebraska.  There is quite a story behind the winery as I had worked there back in 2009 and years later it had burned to the ground, only to rise again.  Check out the website for the details on survival and their award winning wines!
